The group is trying to secure approximately $2 million in funding to support local projects.

(Southeast Indiana) – Leaders from Dillsboro, Greendale and Dearborn County are in Indianapolis today to give a final presentation at the Statehouse for the Stellar Pathways Program.
One Dearborn County: Stellar Pathways for Indiana Gateways was named a finalist for the 2024 Stellar Pathways Program in June.
The group includes Dearborn County Economic Development Corporation, Dearborn County, Dillsboro and Greendale.
Their goal is to secure funding through the program, which could bring approximately $2 million to support projects in the region.
The funding would enhance town’s streetscapes, lighting, and overall curb appeal.
The region’s focus is on investing in core assets, such as its prime location, outdoor recreation opportunities, and community charm, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life and boosting economic prosperity.
The final winner of the Stellar Pathways Program is expected to be announced in early 2025.
