(Dearborn County, Ind.) - An Ohio man is accused of pointing a firearm at a fellow driver on Interstate 74 in Dearborn County.

Craig C. Rohrig, 51, of Elmwood Place, Ohio, was arrested on August 15 and charged with Pointing a Firearm (level 6 felony), Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon (level 6 felony), Carrying Handgun Without License (class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Marijuana (class B misdemeanor).

According to a probable cause affidavit, Rohrig was side-by-side with a vehicle on westbound I-74 when he motioned for the driver in the left-hand lane to roll down their window. Rohrig then allegedly pointed a gun at the other driver and said "I'll shoot you in the face" and "pull your ******* *** over."

A nearby Indiana State Police cruiser attempted to stop Rohrig and continued following him to the State Road 101 exit, where he was stopped with the help of Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies and Sunman Police.

During the stop, police say they found Rohrig in possession of a Smith and Wesson 380 handgun, for which he did not have a conceal carry permit. He was also found in possession of marijuana.

Rohrig is currently booked in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
