Oldenburg Academy Student Wins Vocations Essay Contest

(Oldenburg, Ind.) - An Oldenburg Academy freshman is the winner of the Vocations Essay Contest in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. 

This year's contest challenged students in grades 7-12 to pick a particular saint and describe their relationship with the Eucharist.

Bridgette Ehrhard's essay honored Blessed Carlo Acutis. 

She received her award at a luncheon and ceremony on Tuesday in Indianapolis. 

Ehrhard's essay will be printed in the Criterion newspaper in late spring or early summer.
