(Wilmington, Oh.) - Showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, scattered severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. Also, localized flooding will be possible.

The NWS says there is some uncertainty as to how early storms will start. Some scattered storms may fire off ahead of the main line pushing in from Central Indiana by early afternoon. If there are no scattered storms before the main line, then onset
timing will be later for the Tri-State.
On Friday afternoon, wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will be possible.
