NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory, Winter Storm Watch

Two to four inches of snow is possible overnight. Another round on Saturday.

(Wilmington, Oh.) - With snow in the forecast overnight Thursday into Friday, the National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the tri-state area. 

The advisory is in effect from 7:00 p.m. Thursday until 10:00 a.m. Friday. 

Total snow accumulation between two and four inches is expected in portions of southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and south central and southwest Ohio. 

The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commute. 

UPDATE: A Winter Storm Watch has been issued from Saturday morning through Sunday morning. According to the National Weather Service, total snow accumulations between three and six inches is possible.
