(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A very wet January morning has led to much of the Eagle 99.3 listening area being placed under a Flood Warning Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued the warning at about 10:30 for Dearborn County, Hamilton County, and northern Boone County through 4:15 p.m.
A Flood Advisory was also issued earlier for Dearborn, Franklin, Ripley, Fayette, Union, and Wayne counties in Indiana until 12:15 p.m.

Between one and two inches of rain were being reported in areas through the region as a line of storms and showers moved through during the morning hours. Meteorologists say radar indicates another inch of rain possible through the morning.
Some creeks and streams in Whitewater Township-Hamilton County have reportedly left their banks. Motorists and law enforcement reported ponding on U.S. 50 near Cleves.
Residents from Moores Hill and Bright to Milan and Cleves reported rare January hail falling at about 7:00 a.m. The storms brought winds up to 40 MPH.
