Highway 36 from Milton to Carrollton IS NOW OPEN

**UPDATE**

Trimble County, Ky. (03/15/2024)- At this time Kentucky Highway 36 is no longer closed.  Highway 36 is opened back up for all traffic.

Trimble County, Ky. (03/14/2024) – Kentucky Highway 36 is expected to remain closed for approximately 3 days as a result of the damage sustained during the storms earlier this afternoon.  This is an estimated time frame that may change depending on any additional weather issues. 

At this time US 421 and US 42 remain open and traffic is being diverted to these roadways.  Traffic needing to travel to Madison IN will be diverted onto US 42 towards Bedford.  From Bedford traffic can travel on US 421 to Madison.
