No Criminal Charges Filed in Road Rage Shooting in Carroll County

(Carroll County, Ky.) – The investigation into a road rage shooting in Carroll County has concluded.

On June 8, Daniel Shouse was shot and killed in a road rage incident that started on Interstate 71.

The preliminary investigation showed that two vehicles exited off I-71 at Exit 42 in Carroll County, where one of the drivers involved was speaking to dispatch stating the other driver was displaying a firearm.

The incident eventually escalated to the point of gunfire.

Upon completion of the investigation, the facts of the case were sent to the Commonwealth Attorneys Office and the case was presented to the Carroll County Grand Jury.

The jury returned a No True Bill, which determined there would be no criminal charges filed in the case.
