The revised Indiana "In God We Trust" license

plate to debut in 2012.

Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Indiana's "In God We Trust" license plate has been revamped.

The new design features an American flag taking up the entire plate background.

The current version of the plate has just a small image of the waving flag at the bottom.

Drivers will be able to get their hands on the revised plate starting in January. The plate is an optional standard plate available at no extra fee to Hoosier drivers.

About 30 percent of all cars and trucks in the state had the plate in 2010.
