(Batesville, Ind.) - On August 8, Margaret Mary Health Foundation hosted its 40th annual golf outing at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. This year’s event broke previous records, raising more than $84,000 for the Health Foundation’s Health and Wellness Fund. The funds will play a crucial role in supporting Margaret Mary’s new Health and Wellness campus currently being developed at the Six Pine Ranch Campus just off State Road 229.

The sunny day saw enthusiastic participation from 38 registered teams, making it the most attended outing in the Health Foundation’s history. Golfers enjoyed a day of friendly competition, refreshments on the course, a complimentary happy hour and a dinner at the Shift Restaurant.

Winners included the Med-Mizer team for flight one, the Healthmarkets team for flight two and the First Financial Bank team for flight three.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support from our community and sponsors,” stated Jonathon Maple, Executive Director of Margaret Mary Health Foundation. “The funds raised at the golf outing will be instrumental in advancing our mission of creating a healthier community for generations to come. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, participants and volunteers.”

Margaret Mary Health Foundation has two more main fundraising events in 2024. The Stop the Stigma 5K will take place on September 14 and the “Off to the Races” Gala is scheduled for September 28. Anyone interested in participating in these events can reach out to Jonathon Maple at Jonathon.maple@mmhealth.org or 812.933.5141.
