Douglas Ralph hired by Brookville Town Council unanimous vote.

(Brookville, Ind.) - Brookville has a new top cop.
The town board unanimously voted to hire Douglas Ralph to lead the Brookville Police Department, according to The Franklin County Observer newsletter.
Ralph is a retired Marine who served two years in the Iraq War as a platoon sergeant. Following his retirement, he worked as a Department of Defense contractor with the U.S. Army Rangers in Afghanistan. The Brookville resident has a criminal justice degree.
The new chief officially starts his job on April 16.
Ralph will replace Tim Wilkerson, who announced his resignation in December. Terry Mitchum has been serving as interim police chief since the start of 2018.
