Milan Man Injured In SR 129 Crash

The accident happened on Monday night.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - A Milan man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Monday night in Ripley County.

 

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash just south of the intersection of State Road 129 and County Road 400 N around 9:45 p.m.

 

Deputies say Joshua Welch was operating a white GMC truck on State Road 129 when he crossed a railroad track and lost control of the vehicle. Welch’s vehicle continued off the roadway and eventually flipped before striking a tree.

 

Welch was transported to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville with unknown injuries.

 

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Milan Police, Ripley County EMS, Delaware Fire and Osgood Fire.
