Medical Emergency Leads to Single Vehicle Accident in Ripley Co.

The accident took place along U.S. 421 on Monday night.

(Versailles, Ind.) – A medical emergency was the cause of a single vehicle accident in Ripley County.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies and Versailles Fire and EMS responded to the crash at U.S. 421 and 800 South on Monday around 8:45 p.m.

Deputies say Courtney Clemons suffered a medical emergency before her vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a utility pole.

Clemons was transported to Kings Daughters Health for her medical emergency.

Her status was not released.
