Maintenance Project Underway on Petersburg Road

(Petersburg, Ky.) - A maintenance project on Petersburg Road (KY 20) in Boone County is now underway.

The KYTC Boone County maintenance crew will be performing ditching operations on Petersburg Road from Airport Access Road (KY 212) (19.71 mile point) to River Road (KY 8) (20.71 mile point), a distance of 1.0 mile. This work will improve safety and drainage on Petersburg Road.

Crews will be working between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists should expect a single lane closure with flaggers guiding traffic safely through the work zone.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed Friday, April 4.
