Louisville Trio Arrested After String Of Burglaries At Walton Restaurant

The arrests were made on Sunday morning after a months long investigation.

(Walton, Ky.) – Three people have been arrested after a series of burglaries at a Walton restaurant.

Pedro Juan Rosado Gonzalez, 31, Alberto Rosado Maldanado, 26, and Yanisleydis Pena Rodriguez, 23, all of Louisville were arrested early Sunday morning.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the trio arrived at Halperns Steak & Seafood in Walton, where they conducted surveillance but left the area before making entry.

Upon leaving the area of the business, deputies conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the suspects were in possession of radios, black gloves, and several masks.

The items were allegedly used during six burglaries at Halperns Steak & Seafood. During those burglaries, the trio allegedly made off with an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 worth of raw meat.

The suspects were interviewed and allegedly told investigators of their intent to burglarize the business again on Sunday morning.

The following charges were filed Sunday in Boone County:

  • Pedro Juan Rosado Gonzales: Improper Display of Registration Plates; Failure of Non-Owner to Maintain Insurance; Improper Registration Plate; No Registration Receipt; Possession of Burglary Tools; Carrying a Concealed Weapon; six counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree; and six counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking U/$10,000.
  • Alberto Rosado Maldanado: Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree; Possession of Burglary Tools; Burglary 3rd Degree; and Theft by Unlawful Taking U/$10,000.
  • Yanisleydis Pena Rodriguez was charged with; Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree; and Possession of Burglary Tools.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office Crime Suppression Unit has spent the last several months investigation the burglaries with Pedro Juan Rosado Gonzalez being the primary suspect. 

All three are lodged in the Boone County Detention Center.
