(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - United Way of Southeastern Indiana recently took the the Dearborn Trail to spruce things up so parents and children can better enjoy a healthy and educational walk along the Ohio River.

Located between the tunnel and the Tanner’s Creek Bridge, Born to Learn incorporates interactive signs that parents can use to engage their children while walking along the trail.

Signs encourage questions about nature, flora and fauna, and basic learning skills such as counting and reading.

The signs have been refreshed with new paint and are brighter and more attractive thanks to Elizabeth Rosenkranz and Dean and Chrissy Meyer from Indiana Professional Management Group ((IPMG), which specializes in case management services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to several key sponsors. They include: The Knights of Columbus of Aurora, Bright, and Lawrenceburg, and the Lawrenceburg Lions Club.
