A five-month long investigation came to an end with an arrest on Tuesday.

(Aurora, Ind.) – An Aurora man has been arrested on multiple counts of child exploitation.
Following a five-month investigation, Indiana State Police announced the arrest of David A. McDaniel on Tuesday.
The investigation began in June 2022 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children submitted a cyber tip to the Indiana Crimes Against Children Task Force. The tip indicated that an individual, later identified as McDaniel, had received and transmitted images depicting child pornography.
McDaniel, 38, was arrested Tuesday on four level five felony counts of Child Exploitation and Possession of Child Pornography.
He is held in Dearborn County Jail pending an initial appearance in court.
