Local K9 Units Perform Well At Annual Competition

Officers from Dillsboro, Lawrenceburg, and Madison participated at the On Point Police K9 Competition.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – K9 units from Dillsboro, Lawrenceburg, and Madison performed well at the On Point Police K9 Seminar & Competition.

The competition took place March 29-April 2 in Scottsville, Kentucky, and featured over 26 teams from eight states.

Dillsboro Police Chief Josh Cady and K9 Chase earned 1st place in Patrol, beating out Lawrenceburg K9 Officer Troy Cochran and K9 Kilo (2nd place).

Madison K9 Officer Brian Ashcraft and K9 Colt had a nice showing at the competition, finishing 3rd in Narcotics.
