Local Family Displaced After Devastating Fire

The house fire took place Friday evening.

(Milan, Ind.) – A Ripley County family has been displaced after a devastating fire.

The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched via automatic mutual aid with Milan Volunteer Fire Department to a fully involved structure fire on Friday around 6:51 p.m.

Unfortunately, the home suffered significant damage. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

A fundraising event has been scheduled for Saturday, December 19 to assist the family impacted.
