(Cincinnati, Oh.) - Better late than never! Cincinnati's favorite Opening Day tradition steps off Monday.

The 99th Findlay Market Opening Day Parade begins rolling down Race Street in downtown Cincinnati at noon.

Volunteers organizing the parade decided against holding it on Major League Baseball's opening day on March 29 because it conflicted with Findlay Market merchants’ preparations for Easter weekend. The Reds have already played three games ahead of the parade, each of them losses to the Washington Nationals.

Organizers say 180 groups and marching bands are scheduled to appear.

If you head to the parade today, you may notice some local groups. The marching bands from Lawrenceburg, South Dearborn, East Central, and Jac-Cen-Del high schools will be playing. The Lawrenceburg Knights of Columbus will have their Santa Maria float in the parade, too.

Two former Reds pitchers will be the grand marshals: Danny Graves and Sam LeCure.
