UPDATE: LMS customers are no longer being asked to conserve water.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - LMS Conservancy District is currently dealing with a power outage.

Due to the outage, all LMS customers are being asked to conserve water until further notice.

A spokesperson with LMS tells Eagle Country 99.3 that their tanks are very low. That is due to the recent usage of water from customers during the drought-like conditions that have occurred in recent weeks.

A timetable for restoring the power at the pump station is unknown.
