L'burg Community School Corporation Releases Revised Re-Entry Plan

These changes were made to the plan on Wednesday, June 29.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - As the first day of school draws near, re-entry plans are being revised and updated to provide the safest environment for everyone in the building. 

Lawrenceburg Community Schools released their Revised Re-Entry Plan on Wednesday, July 29, following updated guidance from Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.  

These changes include:

  • A negative test will no longer allow a student to return to school after having COVID-19 related symptoms and getting tested for the virus.
  • Students will be required to stay home for 14 days after coming in close contact with an individual with COVID-19. 
  • Face covering are required during the following times:
    • While riding the bus
    • While in large group gatherings
    • While enter/arriving to school
    • In the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch
    • Transitioning to classes
  • Students will also be required to sit in assigned seats while riding the school bus. 

The Revised Re-Entry Plan also includes all of the updates and executive orders from Governor Holcomb.
