Lawrenceburg Mayor Announces Bid for Re-Election in 2023

Kelly Mollaun announced his intent to run for re-election in a Facebook post this week.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun has declared his intent to run for re-election.

In a Facebook post Wednesday, Mollaun officially declared his run for re-election in 2023.

Mollaun has served as Mayor of Lawrenceburg since 2016, winning re-election once.

“I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed being your Mayor. I work with a great staff, first responders, utility department and city employees. These folks deserve a lot of credit. We have a great council and clerk treasurer who have worked tirelessly to make our city what it is today,” reads a Facebook post from Mayor Mollaun.

He continued by saying there are a few more projects he would like to see through.

“My goal is to always run our city like a business and become less dependent on gaming dollars in case the day ever came where gaming was no longer here. We have a great quality of life here and a safe, clean city to call home. My family is raising my grandkids in the area and my commitment is to make Lawrenceburg a destination for decades to come.”
