(Greendale, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Lodge assembled to honor 250 years of combined Masonic service. The Lodge Hall welcomed members and their families to enjoy a home-cooked meal and fellowship. Many memories and stories were recounted from years gone by as old friendships were reinforced and new friendships were introduced.

Once the meal was complete and Lodge was opened, the ceremony was performed. Brothers Victor W Bentle, Jerry W Bondurant, and Marvin N Chrisman were brought before the Lodge and presented with the Indiana Grand Lodge Award of Gold consisting of a 50-year lapel pin, a framed Certificate of Achievement, a new Gold Dues Card and a personal letter from the Grand Master of Masons in Indiana, Most Worshipful Brother Kenneth Roy, Jr. Brothers James M Cato (of The Villages, FL) and Wilbur W Brewsaugh (of Richmond, KY) were also recognized but could not attend. Arrangements to deliver their awards has been made.

Freemasonry enhances and strengthens the character of the individual man by providing opportunities for fellowship, charity, and education. Lawrenceburg Lodge #4 is located at 21 Decker Ave in Greendale and was chartered in 1818. Its members strive to make this Lodge one of the building blocks of Southeast Indiana by donating time and money to various local and national charities.
