Kroger Hiring 400 This Weekend

Cincinnati area Kroger stores are inviting prospective employees to come in and apply this weekend.

(Cincinnati, Oh.) - Dozens of jobs are up for grabs at Kroger stores in greater Cincinnati.

The supermarket chain says it's looking for 400 people to fill a variety of roles at 109 stores throughout the area.

A hiring fair is scheduled Saturday, October 27 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at all local stores, but people are encouraged to apply online first at jobs.kroger.com

Openings include store clerks, that start at a minimum of $10 per hour, as well as deli and bakery clerks or pharmacy technicians starting at $11 per hour. Third-shift staff positions start at $12 per hour.

New employees are eligible for Kroger benefits including its “Feed Your Future” education program, what the company says is accelerated investment in wages, retirement benefits and employee discounts.

Kroger says deli/bakery clerks, pharmacy technicians and third shift overnight staff must be at least 18-years-old.
