ITCC’s Rebecca Rahschulte Appointed To Serve On AACC Commission On College Readiness

Congratulations to Dr. Rebecca Rahschulte on this new position!

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Dr. Rebecca Rahschulte, Vice President of Ivy Tech Community College’s K-14 Initiatives and Statewide Partnerships, has been selected by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) to serve on the organization’s Commission on College Readiness. Rahschulte’s three-year term with the organization began July 1st, 2020.

The Commission of College Readiness provides guidance for the AACC leadership in terms of best practices for advancing college-going rates. The organization helps identify K-12 programs and colleges that have found innovating solutions to preparing students for college.

“I am honored to serve as a representative of Ivy Tech Community College on the AACC Commission on College Readiness with the goal of collaboration between K-12 and community colleges in post-secondary readiness.” said Rachulte. “This work includes advancing the national agenda on best practices within college in high school models, as a research-based method for accelerating college-going rates, persistence rates, and on-time college completion through dual credit and early college programming.”
