(Hebron, Ky.) - An investigation is underway after a Conner Middle School student allegedly made threats against the school.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the student admitted to writing down specific acts of violence in a notebook. The notebook identified individuals and how to locate them or have them respond to a certain area.

The juvenile admitted to writing the contents, but insisted that there was no plan to carry out the acts, and that the information in the notebook were "merely thoughts in their head."

The school resource officer has consulted with the Court Designated Worker who handles formal filing of criminal charges against juveniles.
