The project will require a full closure of Stateline Road.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Archeological excavation work is currently taking place at Stateline Road and U.S. 50 located northeast of Greendale, prior to the start of a planned intersection improvement project.
Current archeological work is anticipated to be complete in spring 2026. This work includes excavating the project area prior to construction to ensure historical artifacts at the project site are properly recovered.
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2026 following archeological excavation and is anticipated to be complete in late 2026, weather permitting.
The intersection improvement project will require a full closure of Stateline Road. U.S. 50 will remain open but single lane closures will be used.
