(Friendship, Ind.) - In partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA) recently completed a $1.2 million grant-funded shooting range improvement project.
Grant funds made possible by the Wildlife Restoration Program supported a variety of improvement projects at the Walter Cline Range, located near Friendship. Range users can now enjoy new modern restrooms, an updated and ADA-compliant trap facility, a revitalized “Woods Walks” range, improvements to shooter support facilities, and new targets and target holders.
These features allow additional opportunities for the public, including weekly modern trapshooting and a variety of monthly competitive shoots.
