Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Rink Opens Nov. 9

The annual Winter Wonderland tradition is a great outing for families, couples, grandparents and grandkids, and friends of all ages.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - With cool weather creeping in, what better time to start traditional winter festivities! 

Lawrenceburg Main Street, Inc. will kick off Winter Wonderland with the Grand Opening of the Ice Rink in the Pavilion at Todd Creech Park on Tate Street this weekend. 

The Ice Rink will feature Winter Wonderland Activities throughout the season.

On Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10, the rink will be the celebrating Opening Weekend with a 'Luau on Ice' beach theme.

Friday, November 29, will feature grades 6-12 with Teen Night. There will be a DJ from 6-10 PM, and the rink will be closed to the public during these hours. 

Saturday, December 14, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Ice Rink. 

The annual Winter Wonderland tradition is a great outing for families, couples, grandparents and grandkids, and friends of all ages.

The pavilion offers a protective roof over the rink, a fire pit for warming cold hands, indoor restrooms, skate distribution, and a concession stand.

 

Ice Rink Hours:

Mondays: CLOSED

Tuesday - Thursday: 4-8 PM

Friday: 4-9 PM

Saturday: 12-9 PM

Sunday: 12-8 PM

 

Holiday Hours

Wednesday, November, 27:

Thanksgiving: CLOSED

Christmas Break Hours (December 23-January 3): 12-9 PM 

Christmas Eve: 12-3 PM

Christmas: CLOSED

New Years Eve: 12-6 PM

 

Admission fees, including skate rentals, are $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 14-and-under, and children 2-and under are free. Season passes also available.

The rink will close for the season on Sunday, January 5, 2020.
