I-74 Ramp Closure Extended

The ramp was scheduled to open tomorrow, October 10th.

(Dearborn Co., Ind.) – The current Interstate 74 eastbound off-ramp closure at Exit 169 will be closed until Wednesday, October 16th.

The ramp at U.S. 52/Brookville/West Harrison was scheduled to open back up Thursday, October 10th.

Due to unexpected subgrade conditions, more work will be needed to remove and replace the deceleration lane at the exit.

Message boards will stay in place to inform motorists of the closing and detour route. The detour for the closure is S.R. 1 to S.R. 46 at Exit 164 (S.R. 1/St. Leon/Lawrenceburg) to U.S. 52.

Motorists are reminded to always slow down and stay cautioned in and around the work zones.

You can stay updated and monitor road conditions, closures, and traffic alerts by following INDOTSoutheast on Facebook and Twitter.
