HVL Resident Allegedly Caught With "Bulk Amount" Of Drugs

(Butler County, Oh.) – Ohio State Highway Patrol caught a Hidden Valley resident transporting a large amount of controlled substance.

Dylan G. Roland, 27, was stopped for a speeding violation in West Chester Township of Butler County on November 7. A drug-sniffing K9 alerted to the vehicle. With probable cause, troopers searched the vehicle and allegedly discovered a crystal-like substance in the trunk.

“The substance was in bulk amount,” the complaint filed in Butler County court states. It does not detail exactly how much of the drug was found.

Roland was arrested and charged with Possession of Drugs and Trafficking in Drugs. He has since bonded out of the Butler County Jail.

Roland has a criminal history in Indiana. Since 2013, he has convictions in Dearborn County for Theft, Forgery, and Resisting Law Enforcement. A probation violation charge was filed against him in Dearborn County on November 9.
