(Switzerland Co.) - Due to excessive rainfall many roads in Switzerland County have been blocked with barricades and high-water signs are in place.
The following roads or portions of have been marked: Log lick, Bennett, Goose Creek, Evans Hill, Bud Ballard, Lower Grants Creek, Culbertson, Bradford, Riverside Dr, Eagle Cv, Nell Lee, Drakes Rdg, Jackson Rd, Montgomery Rd, Plum Creek, Cogley Cole, Emmich, and Hunts Creek.
As we are still expecting more rainfall and the flood watch staying in effect through Saturday night a list of roads is currently passable but have been marked with caution signs.
Use caution when traveling on Markland Pike due to debris fields from mass water runoff. A hydroplane risk due to low level flooding in low spots on SR156. SR56 towards Madison has low level flooding in low spots as well and signs are already up. Spring Branch is down to one lane as of now.
