Gov. Holcomb Directs Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of President Carter

INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff across Indiana in honor and tribute to the memory of President Jimmy Carter.

Carter, who served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981, passed away on December 29 at the age of 100.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset from now until sunset on Tuesday, January 28.

Governor Holcomb also requests businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff.
