(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags in the State of Indiana to half-staff in honor of U.S. Capitol Police Officers who responded to last week's incident at the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
Officer Brian Sicknick died due to injuries sustained while on duty, while Howard Liebengood died while off duty.
Gov. Holcomb says flags should fly at half-staff immediately until sunset on Wednesday, January 13.
Businesses and residents in Indiana are asked to lower their flags.
