Beshear was first elected as Kentucky Governor in 2019.
(Frankfort, Ky.) – Governor Andy Beshear will serve the Commonwealth for another four years.
The incumbent Democratic governor won re-election on Tuesday night defeating Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
Beshear received 693,370 votes (53%) to Daniel Cameron’s 626,196 votes (47%).
Locally, most northern Kentucky voters favored Cameron over Beshear.

“To my fellow Kentuckians, thank you,” said Beshear in an X post. “This is our chance to run these four years of progress into decades of prosperity for your kids and mine. Let’s make it happen together.”
Voter turnout was at 38 percent in Kentucky. There were 1,325,108 ballots casts out of 3,484,827 registered voters.
