UPDATE: Goose Run Road Closure Delayed

UPDATE: The road closure will start on October 22.

A road closure in Dearborn County is being delayed. 

The county highway department says Goose Run Road was to close on Monday, October 15 for a slip repair project. Now, the closure has been pushed back until Monday, October 22.

The Goose Run Road closure will last for about two weeks, depending on weather.

 

Original story published Tuesday, October 9: 

(Aurora, Ind.) - A road closure has been announced for Dearborn County next week. 

The Dearborn County Highway Department says Goose Run Road will close for slip repair beginning Monday, October 15. 

The closure will occur between the addresses of 14727 and 15206 Goose Run Road, which is approximately a 1/2 mile from Cross Road. Motorists will use Soap Hill Road and Park Avenue as detours. 

Goose Run Road will be closed for two weeks. All work is weather dependent.
