Girl Reports Man Peeping Through Window

Batesville Police are asking residents to be on the lookout after a reported case of voyeurism Monday morning.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Batesville Police are warning residents about a reported case of voyeurism.

The department says a juvenile female reported seeing a male standing outside her bedroom window at a home on Second Street at around 12:17 a.m. Monday, July 15. The reported suspect ran away from the home after being spotted.

The only description police have is that he was about 5'8" with short hair.

Batesville Police ask residents to call them if they observe a suspicious person looking into residences, (812) 934-3131.

"We encourage resident to secure their homes and cover their windows during evening hours," said BPD assistant chief Brad Wessel.
