(Wilmington, Oh.) – The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Freeze Warning for the tri-state area.

Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 are expected overnight.

Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Tri-state area residents are encouraged to take steps to protect tender plants from the cold and drain in-ground sprinkler systems.
