(Erlanger, Ky.) – A former Lloyd High School substitute teacher is accused of inducing a minor to engage in sexual activities.
Erlanger Police announced the arrest of Seydrick Walker on Monday.
Walker, 28, is charged with Unlawful Use of Electronic Means to Induce a Minor to Engage in Sexual Activities and Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor.
Erlanger Police say they were notified July 3 by a concerned parent, stating that an adult male, who allegedly turned out to be Walker – had been messaging her 17-year-old daughter on Facebook.
Following the investigation, Walker allegedly admitted to the allegations.
He is held in Kenton County Detention Center on $5,000 cash bond.
Police say Walker was employed by the Erlanger Elsmere School District from October of 2018 until May of 2020.
