Former Green Township Officer to Stand Trial for Injuring Infant

A jury trial has been scheduled in Franklin County.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - A jury trial has been set for a man accused of severely injuring an infant. 

Alexander Grimme, 30, is facing felony charges of Neglect of a Dependent and Domestic Battery with Serious Bodily Injury to a Person Under 14. 

A preliminary plea of not guilty was entered earlier this year. A jury trial has been scheduled for November 17 in Franklin County Court before Judge Kellerman.

Grimme, a former Green Township Police Officer, is facing similar charges in Hamilton County involving the same child.
