(Florence, Ky.) – Florence Fire and EMS and Florence Police are teaming for a holiday event that will help families in need this holiday season.

A special Holiday Toy Drive will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Florence Meijer at 4990 Houston Road.

The festive event aims to spread joy and kindness by encouraging community members to “Fill the Truck” with toys and hygiene products. All donations will directly benefit the Boone County Family Resource Center, who will make sure local children have a gift or two under the tree this Christmas.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance and will be available for photos with individuals and families.
