First Responders Dispatched to Fire in Dearborn Co., Two Accidents in Ripley Co.

(Southeast Indiana) - Area first responders are on the scene of three different incidents this afternoon. 

Multiple fire departments were dispatched to a working structure fire on Basket Lane in Bright around 1:53 p.m. 

According to Dearborn County Dispatch, an apartment building became fully involved and there are potentially multiple oxygen tanks located inside the building. 

Firefighters on the scene have reported multiple people will be displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross is being contacted to assist. 

The fire has been marked under control as of 2:41. 

Shortly after the fire was reported, two accidents were reported in Ripley County. A single-vehicle accident was reported on State Road 101 at State Road 46 in Sunman, while a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle was reported in front of Milan High School.
