(Batesville, Ind.) - Federal agents raided a southeastern Indiana ambulance service Wednesday morning.
The Batesville Herald-Tribune reported seven federal agents were seen at Tri-County Ambulance, Inc.’s offices on Indiana Avenue in Batesville.
The agents were with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General.
The agents would not comment on why they were there or what they were looking for. Questions were directed to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana.

An employee who answered the phone at the Batesville office Thursday morning said the ambulance service is still operating normally.
