Fatal Fire Reported in Boone County

At least one person is dead, and another was injured.

(Verona, Ky.) – A fatal house fire was reported Tuesday morning in Boone County.

Verona Fire Department responded to the blaze at a home on Glencoe Verona Road where one person was pronounced dead, and another was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The identity of the victims has not been released at this time.

A cause of the fire remains under investigation.
