"Empty Bowls" Dinner Makes A Return To Harrison

Empty Bowls will benefit those in need in Harrison.

(Harrison, Oh.) - Dine for a cause known around the world on Wednesday, March 18 in the Harrison Activity Center Bistro. 

The "Empty Bowls" dinner is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to care for and feed the hungry in their communities. This dinner supports food-related charitable organizations around the world and has raised millions of dollars to help end hunger.

Tickets are $10 and will include soup, bread, a beverage, and dessert. 

All funds collected from the dinner will benefit those in need in Harrison through the Harrison Mayor's Fund and Christ's Loving Hands.

At the end of the meal, guests will receive a hand-crafted ceramic bowl as a reminder of the many "empty bowls" around the world. 

For those wanting to attend and support this dinner, you will have two seating options. The first seating will be from 5:00-6:00 PM, and the second seating from 6:30-7:30 PM.

This dinner is presented by Harrison High School through the support of JTM, Harrison McDonald's, the Harrison High School Art Department, Music Department, Student Council, Special Olympians, and Key Club.
