Emergency Alert Test On Hamilton County Cell Phones Wednesday

A text-like message will appear on smartphone screens in Hamilton County at 9:00 a.m. on September 4.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - If you are in Hamilton County, your phone may sound an alarm Wednesday morning. September 4.

Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security officials will conduct a countywide test of the wireless emergency alert system.

The alert will include a text-like message at 9:00 a.m.

Receiving the alert does not require an app or subscribing to any service.
