(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Eligible homeowners in Lawrenceburg can get home repairs for free.
The City of Lawrenceburg was awarded $350,000 last September from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program.
The Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Grant empowers Indiana communities to establish local home repair programs. Awarded communities create programs that directly fund repairs on owner occupied residential properties, including roof replacement, heating, cooling, and water heater replacement, lighting and electrical upgrades and ADA accessibility modifications up to the threshold of the home.
To be eligible for the program, total household income must be at or below the following income guidelines:
