A storm has caused problems with electrical service in Dearborn County.

Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities says the electric service outage is widespread as a Duke Energy transmission line burned apart.
Although outages should start to be restored within an hour or so, some customers may be without power longer, the utility said on Facebook at around 9:40 p.m.
LMU said its crews are assisting Duke Energy anyway it can.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Electrical problems are being reported in Lawrenceburg and the surrounding are following an early evening round of storms.
According to Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities, a Duke Energy transmission line lost a phase.
The issue has caused sporadic power outages and flickering lights in homes and businesses in Dearborn County. However, only a handful out reported outages in the region are listed by Duke Energy or Southeastern Indiana REMC as of 8:15 p.m.
Some traffic lights along U.S. 50 from Greendale to Aurora are malfunctioning.
LMU could not provide a time for full service restoration.
