East Central's FFA Chapter Competes At State Horticulture Career Development Event

(St. Leon, Ind.) - The East Central Future Farmers of America Chapter had 25 members compete in the Indiana 4-H/FFA State Horticulture Career Development Event on Saturday, October 9 at Purdue University. 

The competition includes a plant identification component where members had to identify ornamental trees and shrubs, flowering and indoor plants, fruits, and vegetables. There was also a general knowledge exam, and members had to rank plant specimens from best to worst.
